This gallery provides access to datasets and maps related to agricultural activities in California's San Joaquin Valley. This includes information on characteristics of San Joaquin Valley farmland, including the California Department of Conservation's Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program time series dataset. The gallery also includes information on crop patterns, land cover, agricultural value, and additional challenges facing San Joaquin Valley agricultural resources (e.g., soil salinity).
This gallery contains the maps and data assembled by the SJV Greenprint team. They can also be accessed through http://sjvmaps.ice.ucdavis.edu/. The Information Center for the Environment is not the original source of most of the datasets. The Greenprint team recommends that users check the original source for updates, and contact original data providers if questions arise about how to use the materials.
